RAJEEV K. GOEL is a professor of economics at the Department of Economics of the Illinois State University. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Houston, and M.A. in economics from the Universities of Houston and Panjab. His areas of research interest comprise economics of technical change, industrial organization/applied microeconomics, internet economics, entrepreneurship, corruption, tobacco demand, regulation. He teaches industrial organization, microeconomics, mathematical economics, managerial economics, economics of regulation.
