Presidents Come and Go but the Supreme Court Goes on Forever
Judicial Independence in the Light of American Court System

Monday, December 15th, 5:30 PM
Kraków, Bracka 12, room 204

You are cordially invited to join an event concerning judicial independence in the United States of America.  Our two guests: Professor Heather Elliot (University of Alabama School of Law) and Professor Elizabeth Porter, have been not only working as both practicing lawyers and professors, but also they are former law clerks to Justice Ginsburg of The U.S. Supreme Court.  They will present and discuss two topics:

  • Supreme Court Justices’ Nomination Process
  • Law Clerks’ Role in the Judiciary

We expect heated discussion; don’t miss this event!

Number of seats is limited, so please confirm attendance by sending an e-mail to okspo at uj.edu.pl, not later than Monday, 12/15, 2 P.M.
