American Grades and their numerical weight for calculating the average:
Please note that grades above C- are passing. C- and lower grades are failing.
IMPORTANT: We are using exclusively American grades for the exams. We do NOT use Polish grades, so do NOT take the number next to the grade (e.g. 4,33 or 2,67) as equivalents of Polish grades like db or ndst. These numbers represent the value of the grade in the American scale, NOT in the Polish scale. We use these numbers for calculating the average, and we calculate the average as an American grade. Should you have interest in how the American grades translate into Polish grades (which will have practical effect only when we calculate the American average of all courses in June by the end of the Program), please consult the Handbook.
